About this experience
They have been together for 53 years. She comes from an aristocratic family, wears miniskirts, has a great sense of humor, and calls her husband the main rarity in the house. He is a former casino dealer, a true Italian, energetic and cheerful. I will introduce you to these incredible people. They will gladly welcome you into their home and kindly answer all your questions.
What to Expect
Interesting City Spots
First, we will take a walk through Venice. I will show you a beautiful ancient church and the place where the historical center originated. We will visit the oldest fish market in Europe. And then we will cross the famous Rialto Bridge and visit one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, where you can find extraordinary bookshelves and the most delicate cats.
Opera Stories
As an opera singer, I will tell you many interesting things from my profession:
- what artists do the day before a concert to have a good voice,
- what omens opera singers have,
- which Italian opera was written specifically by order of the Directorate of the Russian Imperial Theatres,
- why the vast majority of operas are created in Italian,
- if you're interested, I will share personal stories - like my experience at the conservatory in Venice and why I came to study here.
And finally, the main event - our Venetian couple
Adriano and Patricia will only open the doors of their home to us and will be willing to share their most intimate stories. Their cozy corner resembles a museum. Each detail has its own history - we will learn it from the hosts themselves. There are many antique items here. But as Patricia often jokes, the main rarity in the house is her beloved Adriano. Yes, our hosts have a great sense of humor. The conversation will take place in a light, friendly atmosphere, and I will act as a translator.
What can you ask about? For example:
- How did Patricia and Adriano maintain so much energy at their age? What's the secret of their youthfulness?
- How did they manage to live happily together for 53 years?
- Patricia comes from an aristocratic family, and her husband does not. Did they face any difficulties because of this?
- For what merits did Patricia's family receive an aristocratic title, and how does it affect her life now?
- Why do they have a saber for hara-kiri in their home?
