About this experience
Venice is a city of mystery. Have you ever dreamed of stepping behind the closed doors of a real Venetian residence? Well, dream no more, as we are invited to dine with a hereditary aristocrat! Yes, you will be a guest at the count's house, whose family has produced seven doges. Witness how the blue-blooded live, engage in conversations, and savor homemade Italian dishes.
What to Expect
Ready to visit a genuine Venetian home? Not in a hotel or a restaurant, but in an ordinary residential building! Well, not entirely ordinary.
Unique Event
Prepare for more than just dinner - dine in the company of a hereditary aristocrat, currently bearing the title of count, from a family that has had seven doges - rulers of the Venetian Republic. Palaces on the Grand Canal and villas on the mainland of the city bear his family's name. He will happily share the history of his family with you - tales of rulers, wars, rise and fall.
Wine and Cuisine
Of course, your conversations will be accompanied by a glass of estate-produced Prosecco - wine cultivated and made in the prestigious area on the Carticce slope. Meanwhile, the countess will prepare an exquisite dinner served on family ceramics and porcelain.
You will not only meet the last representative of one of the oldest Venetian dynasties, but also see how an ordinary Venetian palazzo is arranged in the central district of Venice - San Marco.
If you wish, on the morning of the dinner, I will show you the Rialto fish market and the nearby San Polo district, narrate the lifestyle and culinary (and beyond) history of these places, and definitely share where and how to properly enjoy an aperitif. During dinner, I will be your personal translator.
