About this experience
Let's leave the city and head to a family-owned winery. The chateau owner, a hereditary winemaker, will conduct a wine tasting and share insights into his craft, while the hostess will teach how to cook authentic Adjaran khachapuri. We will gather around the table with traditional Georgian snacks and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the vineyard, mountains, and gorge.
What to Expect
Journey to the Chateau
On a comfortable car, we will travel to a family-owned winery located 50 kilometers away from Batumi. The chateau is situated in a beautiful gorge in the mountainous region of Adjara. We will be greeted by a hospitable family involved in eco-wine production, who will show us the enchanting mountain vineyard and share insights into their art.
Wine and Khachapuri
The estate owner, also a hereditary winemaker, will conduct a wine tasting and elaborate on the characteristics of different grape varieties. Then, I will show you the hidden gem - the marani (wine cellar). The chateau's hostess, who is also a chef, will reveal the secrets of preparing authentic Adjaran khachapuri. We will sit down at a table full of traditional local snacks and against the backdrop of the breathtaking Adjara mountains, we will explore the nuances of the Georgian feast. It's time to head back home.

We are very pleased with this trip! Koba and Irakli are wonderful guys, it's interesting to listen to them, they know a lot, but at the same time they don't overload with unnecessary information. The wine tasting at the chateau went splendidly, the owner himself told us about the wine and the winery...
