About this experience
If you want to get acquainted with Georgia through wine, then only at a small private winery where wine is treated with warmth and reverence. You will learn about the production traditions and history of Georgian wine. And then you will taste five varieties of wine, brandy, and chacha. All of this in a pleasant atmosphere of hospitality and cordiality.
What to expect
We will visit a cozy family winery near Batumi: from here you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea and the city, and there are even ruins of an ancient church on the premises.
As guests of a hereditary winemaker, you will learn:
- how Georgian wines are made and what makes them unique
- how brandy and chacha are made
- how to properly taste wine and keep a tasting diary
Of course, there will be a tasting! You will try five varieties of wine, brandy, and chacha. All drinks are served with perfectly matching snacks.

- Tastings and transfer from your place of stay to the winery and back are included in the price
- If desired, you can make wine with your own label - starting from 30 lari

Tamaz conducted a great tour of the home garden and winery. He showed and explained how white and red wines are made. Then we had a well-organized wine tasting with songs and stories. Highly recommend.
