About this experience
The whimsical theater-museum in Figueres is Dalí's main creation. I will tell you about the artist's life and show you his best works. You will discover what the famous Spaniard was afraid of and inspired by, and learn what 'surrealism' is. And afterwards, we will stroll through the streets of the ancient Girona and talk about its secrets.
What to expect
Meeting Salvador Dalí
Your immersion into the amazing life of the famous artist will begin on the way to Figueres. We will talk about surrealism and understand what the strange, sometimes eerie images in the genius's works represented. You will explore all corners of the theater-museum and examine Dalí's best works. You will learn why he was afraid of grasshoppers, who besides his wife Gala inspired him, and why he decided to open an unusual museum.
In addition, we will visit the exhibition of treasures created by the great Spaniard. You will admire the luxurious creations, and I will tell you which ones were produced in series and which exist only in single copies.
Ancient Girona and its history
After the Dalí museum, we will head to Girona - a city with a rich history and well-preserved medieval buildings. You will enjoy a walk through its historical part, where I will explain why the local bridge is called the 'relative' of the Eiffel Tower. You will see the Lioness of Girona, understand what she is famous for, and why Spaniards say she should be kissed. Catalan traditions, urban legends, and the history of the local Jewish community - Girona will captivate you with its charm and originality.

How the tour goes
- Start and end in Barcelona
- Our journey will take place in a comfortable minivan, not a large bus, so we won't have to walk 1.5 km to the old town in Girona
