About this experience
I invite you to explore the unusual museum of Salvador Dali in Figueres - the artist's hometown. It is easy to reach from Barcelona by a direct train, the journey will take less than 2 hours. I will guide you through the halls of the theatre-museum, showing the most interesting installations and paintings. I will tell you about Dali's life and love, his character and interests, creative symbols, and paradoxes.
What to expect
The mesmerizing world of Dali
Upon entering the theatre-museum, you will see an installation with a rainy taxi: inside the Cadillac, it is raining, and snails crawl among the passengers. Then you will enter a room shaped like the face of a scandalous American actress and appreciate the famous lips-sofa. Through these and other provocative works of Dali, I will help you immerse yourself in the world of surrealism.
Not just paintings
In addition to the main exposition of the theatre-museum, we will visit a stunning exhibition of jewelry. You will see clocks shaped like an eye, a brooch-lips made of shimmering stones, and other original Dali pieces. In the end, we will take a playful photo, "Dali-fying" ourselves. We will also talk about the favorite restaurant of the self-promotion genius and his Russian muse.
