About this experience
To understand Venice, this unimaginable city on water, it is not enough to just walk - it is worth sailing through the canals! After all, they are not here just for beauty: the city's proximity to large water has determined its specificity. First, we will walk through narrow streets, and then we will transfer to a private boat to pass through the Grand Canal and see Venice from a new perspective. And I will tell you about the city's features and its history.
What to Expect
Our Plan
First hour: we will stroll through picturesque non-touristic quarters and streets of Venice, visit some churches, and peek into hidden courtyards. Then we will take a ride on a private boat along the most beautiful 'street' of the city - Grand Canal, as well as through small quiet Rio. And the last half an hour will be dedicated to the heart of Venice - San Marco Square!
- I will tell you about how Venetian houses on water are built and what sets them apart from regular housing
- You will learn how the Golden Roof Ca' d'Oro is connected to Prince Trubetskoy, and Ca' Mocenigo is connected to Giordano Bruno
- We will admire the mosaics on Ca'Barbarigo and enjoy the facade of Desdemona's house
- I will show you the palaces where famous movies and music videos were filmed, and tell you what is inside them now
Organizational Details
The boat ride is paid separately - €130 for up to 4 people.
