About this experience
We conduct a friendly city tour of Venice every day, alternating routes. Choose one or both for a comprehensive introduction to this amazing place! Experience the spirit of the 'Floating City' and learn to navigate the maze of streets and canals. Discover the main attractions and hidden corners. Learn about the life of Venetians and explore delicious establishments for 'locals.'
What to Expect
We have prepared two enriching routes through Venice, alternating every other day. Both walks will help you get to know the city from the inside, not just see the famous sights from guidebooks: we will show you where the 'locals' go and where real life flows, help you navigate the alleys and canals. We will also share where you should definitely visit after our walk.
Red Route: must-see places in Venice
On the walk, we will introduce you to Venice and help you navigate the most interesting corners of the city: you will see the Barefoot Bridge, Ponte delle Guglie, and, of course, Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs. Appreciate the variety of Venetian streets and alleys, admire the famous Venetian palaces - Labia, Falyer, Ca' d'Oro. Learn stories and city legends: about the locals, poisons and antidotes, the gambling habits of the Venetians, and much more. And we will end the walk near the most famous square in Venice - San Marco!
Blue Route: both main and non-touristy places
What is a s'cola? We will find out and look at one of them - San Rocco. We will not miss the church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and the Contarini del Bovolo staircase. We will talk a lot about Venice as a city of art: we will pass by the Academy of Fine Arts, La Fenice Theater, and the Correr Museum. And in the finale, we will walk to Piazza San Marco to the Doge's Palace.
