What awaits you
Tokyo through the centuries
The tour will start in the heart of Tokyo - at the Imperial Square. You will visit the palace built in the 16th century during the rule of Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty. I will tell you how the throne was inherited in Japan, how many rulers the country had, and which events from the life of the imperial family have gone down in history forever. I will also reveal the secret of whether there was a harem system in Japan. Next, you will take a leap in time and find yourself in the fashionable district of Ginza, where stores of all famous brands are presented. If you want to take a break, I will show you a place where you can have a coffee with your photo on the foam for just 5 dollars.
Meeting the 'city of the future'
You will see the building of the Japanese Kabuki theater and learn why all roles on its stage are played by men. I will tell you why Tokyo is considered the founder of this theatrical art and what its features are. Then we will head to the 'city of the future' and go to the large artificial island of Odaiba. You will find out the purpose of creating landfill islands in Tokyo and how they are used now. I will also show you the Japanese Statue of Liberty.
