Authentic neighborhoods with cozy streets, traditional and modern architecture, palaces and temples - the guide will show you all the most interesting and share curious facts from the past and present.
What to expect
Asakusa District. It is filled with history and traditional Japanese culture. Here you will see the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo - Sensoji. Nakamise Street leads to the temple, where souvenirs are sold in shops that have been operating for hundreds of years. In the same area, you can try on a kimono, stroll through parks, and take photos against the backdrop of Tokyo Sky Tree tower.
Akihabara, Ochanomizu Districts. From the car window, you will enjoy the cityscape and some sights. For example, in the Ochanomizu area, there is the main cathedral of the Japanese Orthodox Church, Nicholas Do.
Imperial Palace. We will walk through the castle grounds with beautiful gardens. Between the palace and Tokyo Station are offices of the largest Japanese corporations. You will appreciate such buildings as Marunouchi Building, Shin-Marunouchi Building, Kitte, Brick Sq...
In the Marunouchi area, we will find a small local 'Ginza' - Marunouchi-Naka Dori street. Then we will visit the very center of the district at the station square. Recently renovated, it attracts with its view and the Tokyo Station building in Renaissance revival red brick style.
Underground section of Tokyo Station - a huge shopping, entertainment, and restaurant center. We suggest finding a good and inexpensive restaurant here and having lunch, or taking a lunch box and feeling like an employee of nearby offices.
