You will see how contrasting Tokyo is, learn about the lives of its citizens, touch upon past epochs, and taste traditional treats.
What to Expect
You will visit upscale districts with expensive cars, glittering shop windows, and skyscrapers. You will feel the atmosphere of old neighborhoods with streets that can only be traveled by bicycle. You will see temples and shrines, stroll through gardens set in the heart of business districts. You will hear the history of each district's origin, learn about the Japanese emperor and the religion of the Japanese. You will discover what makes up a day in the life of a real Tokyo resident. And of course, you will taste Japanese sweets and matcha.
- We will walk around the square in front of the Imperial Palace - the official residence of the rulers of Japan. It is from here that the city's history began in the 16th century.
- We will visit the fashionable Ginza district, sparkling with the luxury of famous brands and haute couture. Here you will also see the world-renowned Kabuki theater.
- We will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of past decades in the Asakusa district. I will tell you the legend of the city's oldest Buddhist temple Senso-ji.
- While walking along the oldest shopping street Nakamise-Dori, you will explore traditional souvenirs, jewelry, toys, and national delicacies.
- By a modern or retro-style boat, we will reach the artificial Odaiba Island, where the giant Gundam robot resides. There are entertainment complexes, museums, and a beautiful view of the bay, the Rainbow Bridge engulfed in evening lights, and the Statue of Liberty.
