About this experience
Tokyo is a giant city with an incredible amount of attractions. I have combined the most famous, bright, and picturesque ones into one route. Together we will spend a whole day. We will walk around the center, visit the wonderful district of Asakusa with an ancient Buddhist temple, and immerse ourselves in the spirit of modern life in the fashionable Shibuya district.
What to Expect
Tokyo Center
You will see the city's landmarks: Imperial parks and palace towers where the imperial family resides. You will stroll through the financial district of Marunouchi and visit the city's first railway station. You will also appreciate the modern buildings of the post office and international forum. And, of course, you will walk through the famous Ginza district: see Tokyo's main clock and Japan's most famous fashionable intersection. For lunch, we will visit the colorful Tsukiji market.
Picturesque Asakusa District
We will visit Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple - Senso-ji. And walk through the adjacent beautiful park, where an atmosphere of peace and tranquility reigns. We will also stroll along Nakamise-dori street with colorful souvenirs and traditional Japanese snacks. On the Sumida River embankment, we will admire the Skytree tower, the unusual building of the Beer Museum, and trading boats.
Modern Shibuya District
Shibuya is the heart of Tokyo's nightlife. I'll show you the busiest intersection in the city, which has appeared countless times in movies and blogs. And also the monument to the faithful dog Hachiko, symbolizing loyalty and friendship. Finally, if you have the energy, we will stroll through Tokyo's Champs-Elysees, admire the luxurious shops of local fashion designers, and visit Anime Street.
