Giza from Sharm-el-Sheikh is quite far. But if looking at the pyramids is your cherished dream, neither time nor distance can be an obstacle! We will take you to the foot of the seventh wonder of the world on a comfortable bus. And along the way, we will accompany you to the Cairo Museum with hundreds of thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts, offer you a boat ride on the Nile, and a camel ride in the desert.
What to expect
- Egyptian National Museum - the repository of the largest archaeological collection in the world, covering all kingdoms of Ancient Egypt. You will see ancient artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb.
- The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You will gaze at the legendary pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, approach the pensive Sphinx, and learn interesting facts about Ancient Egypt and its rulers from the guide.
- Tasty lunch at a restaurant. You will be offered Egyptian cuisine in a buffet format.
Optional
- Nile boat ride - the main source of life in the waterless desert. Travelers who do not wish to sail on the boat will wait on the bus or nearby.
- Shopping. You can visit authentic shops and find souvenirs as well as valuable items from the papyrus factory and natural oil factory.
Organizational details
- For your safety, the transfer from Sharm-el-Sheikh to Cairo is organized on a large tourist 50-seater Mercedes-Benz bus with a police convoy escort. The road to Cairo takes about 9 hours.
- Departure time from Sharm-el-Sheikh is from 00:30 to 01:30. Return to Sharm - at 02:00 the following night.
- A mandatory requirement for the tour is an Egyptian visa pasted in your passport with a stamp. If you did not obtain the visa at the airport upon arrival, you can buy it directly from us before the tour - $30 for one visa.
- The price includes: transfer from the hotel in Sharm and back, services of a Russian-speaking Egyptologist guide, tickets to the museum and the pyramid grounds, lunch.
