About this experience
We have allocated 2 days for this program so you can see all the interesting historical sites. The first day is devoted to Cairo. The program includes the Coptic Quarter, mosques, the oldest market in Africa and much more. And the second day is dedicated to exploring Giza. Together with a Russian-speaking guide, you will visit the pyramids, see the Sphinx, and immerse yourself in the history of Ancient Egypt.
What to Expect
Day 1: Cairo
Let's start our tour with a visit to the Cairo Museum. You will see statues of pharaohs, sarcophagi, mummies, ancient treasures found in Tutankhamun's tomb. A professional guide will tell you the history of the museum and its exhibits. Then we will take a walk along the Nile and have lunch at a restaurant.
In the second part of the program, we will visit Old Cairo, also known as the 'Coptic Capital'. We will visit old Christian churches, explore the Coptic cemetery, and find the graves of Russian emigrants. We will stroll through the alleys of the Coptic Quarter, which will remind you of old Jerusalem.

In the evening, we will take you back to your hotel
Day 2: Giza
In the morning, we will pick you up and continue our journey. We will visit the most important pyramids of Ancient Egypt - Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. We will trace the evolution of burial chambers. You will see the very first stone pyramid in human history, gaze at the Sphinx and the tombs of sacred bulls, visit the sacred and mysterious Serapeum. Descend into the Teti pyramid and visit the necropolis of Egyptian pharaohs in Dahshur.
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the history of Egypt and the modern life of the country, about the traditions and customs of the locals. You will learn about the dynasties of pharaohs, get acquainted with the mythology of ancient Egyptians, and discover the secrets of pyramid construction.
Organizational Details
- The tour takes place in a comfortable minibus or sedan with air conditioning (depending on the size of the group)
- The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh, and a Russian-speaking guide will join you in Cairo
- The journey from Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo will take about 6.5 hours
- The tour will be conducted by me or another guide from our team
