Come and explore the highlights of Cairo! At the National Museum, you will see ancient mummies and treasures from the time of Tutankhamun. On the Giza Plateau, you will admire the Great Sphinx and the mysterious pyramids. Our professional guide will share the rich traditions, history, and culture of the country.
What to expect
Cairo and the Pyramids
You will take a night bus ride from Sharm-el-Sheikh to Cairo on a Mercedes bus with reclining seats. In Cairo, you will be greeted by a Russian-speaking Egyptologist guide who will show you all the iconic landmarks of the city. The program includes:
- Egyptian Museum. Walking through its halls, you will see numerous ancient artifacts. Among them are manuscripts, household items, golden sarcophagi, and treasures from the pharaohs' tombs.
- Nile Cruise (optional). Enjoy a boat ride on the majestic Nile and admire the panoramas of Cairo from the water.
- Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. We will visit the Giza Valley, where time seems to stand still. You will appreciate the world-famous pyramids and learn who, when, and why they were built.
- Papyrus Museum. You will see traditional Egyptian scrolls and learn how they were made in ancient times.
- Perfume Factory. Visit a place where perfumes are produced using ancient techniques and enjoy the most vibrant scents.
Organizational details
To participate in this excursion, you need an Egyptian visa sticker, which you can purchase at Sharm-el-Sheikh airport upon arrival. If you haven't bought a visa, we can help you with this. The surcharge will be 5$.
How the excursion goes
- On a comfortable Mercedes A600 bus (with air conditioning, toilet, and reclining seats)
- You will be accompanied by a Russian-speaking Egyptologist guide
- The duration of the excursion is about 24 hours. It starts at 01:00-02:00 at night depending on the location of your hotel.
- Be prepared for a long journey: the distance from Sharm-el-Sheikh to Cairo is 500 km, approximately 6 hours
