About this experience
For one day you will find yourself in the most dynamic city of Egypt — Cairo, which rightly bears the title of the Gateway to the East. You will observe the peaceful coexistence of elite districts and slums, feel the rhythm of the city, and immerse yourself in the era of the pharaohs Akhenaten and Tutankhamun in the luxurious halls of the Egyptian National Museum. And then you will head to the Giza Plateau to come face to face with the grand Egyptian pyramids, see the wise gaze of the Great Sphinx, and feel the breath of eternity.
What to expect
Cairo Contrasts
Morning will present you with Cairo in all its glory, organically combining the cultural and economic features of Africa, Asia, and Europe. You will feel the rhythm of the city and absorb its contrasts, watching modern skyscrapers coexist with shanties of the poor, and a stream of expensive cars with donkeys laden with vegetables and fruits. As you admire Cairo's architectural dominants, you will understand why it is called the 'city of a thousand minarets'.
Egyptian Museum: Echo of Ancient Civilization
Being in the heart of Cairo, at Tahrir Square, you will visit the Egyptian National Museum and be transported thousands of years back in time, exploring the history, culture, and life of Ancient Egypt. You will see ancient obelisks, statues of the greatest pharaohs, funerary stelae, and a hall dedicated to Pharaoh Akhenaten. The second floor will immerse you in the era of Tutankhamun — you will be impressed by the golden room with the pharaoh's funerary mask, gilded throne, sarcophagi, and treasures of millennia past.
'Everything fears time, and time fears the pyramids'
From Cairo, we will head to Giza, where you will meet the main symbols of Egypt — the ancient pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World! You will see three grand tombs of pharaohs of the Old Kingdom: the pyramid of Khufu with its mysterious staircases and corridors, the pyramid of Khafre, and the pyramid of Menkaure lined with pink Aswan granite. And after that, you will descend to the foot of the Giza Plateau, where you will meet the ancient guardian of the pyramids — the monumental Sphinx, whose gaze is turned towards the first rays of the rising sun.
At the end of the tour on the way to Hurghada, you will visit an Oils Factory, where you can find and take with you exquisite aromas from around the world.
