About this experience
I invite you to get to know Georgia and its residents in an unusual format! In just half a day through folk dances, songs, and feasting, you will see and learn about the country as much as an independent traveler would not learn in several days, or even weeks. In addition to pleasant memories and atmospheric photos, you will take away the ability to dance, cook local dishes, and make toasts.
What to expect
Weapons museum
We will start our acquaintance with the Georgian ethnic group by visiting an unusual museum in Tbilisi. Its director, a well-known historian, will appear before us in princely attire and show his own collection of artifacts - original bronze age daggers, stone arrowheads, sabers, and horseshoes. From the mouth of a true antiquities expert, you will learn about little-known historical facts, and then take part in a fascinating photo session in traditional Georgian costumes and armor.
Folk dances and martial arts
An integral part of Georgian culture is dances. Accompanied by a professional choreographer, you will learn the basic movements, and experienced dancers of the ensemble will show two fiery dance numbers. The program will be complemented by live performances of folk songs (singing along is allowed!) and an exciting demonstration of Georgian martial arts.
Georgian feast Supra
After receiving a positive charge of energy from Georgian folklore, we will visit a Tbilisi family. Here you will find a generous Georgian feast with a variety of snacks and hot dishes, as well as homemade wine and chacha. During the meal, you will be casually taught the rules of Georgian feasting, told about the sequences of toasts, and how to drink correctly from a horn.
According to Supra rules, after 5-6 glasses, proud Georgians demonstrate their fiery yet restrained character in dances. And do not deny yourself this: to the already familiar melody, show what you have learned at the previous event. Guests and hosts will be pleasantly surprised.

This tour was a birthday gift from my colleagues, but I must say that it felt more like a festive event rather than a tour. At first, I was alone and it was a bit boring, but as we went along, other participants joined us. The program was engaging and very rich, yet the organizers skillfully avoided...
