About this experience
This immersive tour is a journey into the real living Prague, preserved in the nooks of the Lesser Town - the most picturesque old district of the city with elegant palaces, parks, and baroque cathedrals. You will get acquainted with the main sights and history of the Lesser Town, see the best works of the main Czech provocateur David Černý, and most importantly - open the door to the everyday life of Prague residents: visit cozy courtyards and bookshops, listen to street musicians, and visit the favorite cafes of locals.
What to expect
Authentic Prague Atmosphere
Once the Lesser Town was a district of aristocratic residences, and today it is the last stronghold of Prague residents not yet overrun by tourists. The locals have preserved the left bank part of the city for themselves, and you will feel it on this walk: the spirit of Mozart's Prague is in the air, you can see laundry drying in the passages and courtyards, and in the evening - meet friendly Czechs for a coffee or beer in atmospheric cafes and art clubs where locals gather to chat about everything.
Vibrant City Life
You will see the real and lively Prague as known and loved by locals. We will stroll through the narrowest street in the city, feed the local swans by hand, peek into antiquarian bookshops, and perhaps buy a couple of designer postcards for a keepsake. Leave your autograph on the John Lennon Wall, listen to Prague street musicians, and discover the hidden work of the controversial sculptor David Černý (the two most famous works will find us on their own). Walk through the ancient mirror maze, visit a contemporary art museum and an alchemy museum - hoping to find the formula for eternal life. And then warm up with aromatic coffee and admire Prague from the beloved hill of Marina Tsvetaeva, where we will ride the funicular.
