Personalized Prague Experience: Iconic Places and Hidden Gems Loved by Locals
About this experience
A common misconception is to think that there is nothing to see in Prague besides Prague Castle. My tour will take you through the most iconic sights of the Czech capital, as well as charming off-the-beaten-path locations in different districts of Prague where locals like to spend their time: from pubs in the Old Town and waterfront alleys to parks, museums, and vineyards.
What to Expect
Must-see in the city
Our journey will include all the main symbols of golden Prague: you will see Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Vysehrad, and many other landmarks featured on guidebook covers and postcards. I will tell you about Prague's history and all about its neighborhoods beyond the old center (because there is also plenty to see there!) and, of course, about the Czechs - their mentality, traditions, way of life. You will learn how Czechs like to relax and what to put on the table during holidays, taste the national cuisine and local beer in establishments where the average tourist does not usually go and ask any questions about life in this country.
Your personal view of Prague
You will see the city from a bird's eye view and photograph Prague panoramas from the most impressive viewpoints away from the crowds. Feed the swans swimming on the smooth waters of the Vltava River, find out where to buy souvenirs and exchange currency, which museums to visit, and discover Prague from the side that interests you the most. You can visit the Royal Vineyards of Charles IV or have coffee in Riegrovy Gardens, go to the Upper Letná district to an authentic Czech brewery or to Vitkov Hill and Stromovka Park. The zoo or Troja Castle, the farmers' market or Grebovka Park - regardless of your choice, the off-the-beaten-path part of Prague will also unfold at your feet.
