What Awaits You
Omodos Village and Ancient Monasteries
Our journey will start with a traditional Cypriot village, Omodos. We will stroll through its picturesque narrow streets and observe the leisurely local life. We will also visit the Church of the Holy Cross and the Kykkos Monastery, where one of the three icons painted by Saint Luke during the Virgin Mary's lifetime is kept. I will tell you the history of these places and reveal their modern significance.
Ghost Hotel, Olympus, and Aphrodite Beach
You will visit the village of Prodromos and explore the now abandoned but once thriving Berengaria Hotel. Additionally, you will stop by an authentic winery, taste aromatic wines, and enjoy the scenery. In the mountain village of Pedoulas, you will relax in a Cypriot tavern. To wrap up, you will admire a small picturesque waterfall, ascend to a viewpoint overlooking Mount Olympus, and swim at the birthplace of Aphrodite.
