On this tour, you will get acquainted with the main attractions of the central district. These streets and squares are worth visiting for everyone who comes to Budapest. You will see the Parliament building and the majestic St. Stephen's Basilica, visit Vörösmarty Square, and admire the exquisite Gresham Palace, decorated in Art Nouveau style. And I will share with you stories about the city's iconic places and useful information for tourists.

Must-see Places
You will see the Parliament building - the largest in Hungary - and hear the story of the construction of this grand structure. Find out who its architect is and in whose honor monuments are installed on the square in front of the Parliament.
On Elisabeth Square, you will admire the Danube Fountain: this sculptural composition embodies the mighty river and its tributaries. We will walk through Vörösmarty Square - one of the most beautiful in the city. From here begins the oldest metro line in Central Europe, trade streets branch out with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes.
View across the river and modern masterpiece
You will tour the St. Stephen's Basilica - the largest Catholic cathedral in Budapest. From the embankment, you will have a beautiful view of Buda Hill and Gellért Hill, the Chain Bridge, and the Elisabeth Bridge. Nearby is the luxurious Vigadó Concert Hall - I will tell you which famous composers performed on its stage. And the Gresham Palace, a true Art Nouveau masterpiece, will amaze you with its grandeur. You will learn who it is named after, how it was used at different times, and what architectural features are expressed in its design.
