About this experience
Together we will stroll through the magical Pest - the flat part of the Hungarian capital on the left bank of the Danube. You will find unusual mini-sculptures, see the famous St. Stephen's Basilica, and admire the grand building of the Parliament! And I will tell you how Budapest was formed, what it lives on today, and share tips from a local resident.
What to Expect
Budapest: entertaining facts and legends
You will visit Elizabeth Square, observe the fountain "with two lives", try to hear the cry of a newspaper vendor from the past, learn the history of the monument to Soviet soldiers, and be charmed by the sculpture of the Portly Policeman. You will also learn:
