About this experience
We invite you to a bright and active day trip to the main places of the southern coast! You will ride on a motor boat through a lagoon with mangrove thickets and drive on open jeeps through a national park with wild elephants. Visit a turtle farm and explore a piece of Europe in Asia - the Old Town of Galle. Immerse yourself in the spirit and exotic color of Sri Lanka.
What to expect
Diverse Sri Lanka
You will visit the brightest places in the south of the island. The tour program includes:
- Galle Fort - you will stroll through the winding streets of the ancient Dutch fortress, admire the colonial architecture and appreciate the gleaming white lighthouse. You will also hear about the interesting events that took place here.
- Turtle Farm - we will visit a place created for the conservation of the sea turtle population. Here, sick and injured turtles are treated and then released into the ocean. You will meet Sri Lankan turtles and learn many fascinating facts about them.
- River safari - you will take a motor boat ride through the Koggala lagoon. Admire the Bird and Cinnamon islands. As well as an ancient temple in the middle of the jungle.
- Jeep safari in Udawalawe Park - you will drive through the rugged terrain of the national park on jeeps, where many wild animals live. You are guaranteed to see elephants. If you're lucky, you may also encounter giant squirrels, deer, wild boars, leopards, pelicans, storks, and peacocks.
