About this experience
Udawalawe is one of the most vibrant national parks in Sri Lanka. It is home to around 600 elephants, leopards, monkeys, crocodiles, and numerous exotic birds. You will ride in a jeep through rugged terrain: across forests, savannahs, and ravines. Enjoy the fantastic island landscapes and observe wild animals in their natural habitats.
What to Expect
A Sri Lankan Adventure Day
Our driver will pick you up in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel and take you to the national park, where you will switch to a jeep with a local guide for a four-hour safari. During this time, Sri Lanka will reveal itself in all its splendor: you will experience the grandeur of the local savannah, see wild elephants, giant squirrels, peacocks, water buffalo. And if you're lucky - leopards and bears!
Organizational Details
- You will be accompanied by an English-speaking driver and an experienced ranger in the jeep, who will show you all the animals. Upon request, we can provide a Russian-speaking guide. The surcharge will be $70.
- The excursion is also possible from Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, Bentota, Kalutara, Mirissa, and Tangalle.
- National park tickets are not included in the price: $50 per person, $25 children 4-6 years, free for children under 4 years old.
