Sri Lanka is a fantastically picturesque country with a rich cultural heritage. You will stroll through Old Galle, reminiscent of a charming European town, and visit the most popular beach on the island in Hikkaduwa. You will also visit a mask factory and a turtle farm. Enjoy a boat ride along the river and marvel at the diversity of the local vegetation.
What to Expect
Diverse Sri Lanka
We have prepared a route for you that combines nature, history, architecture, and traditional crafts of the country. The program includes:
- Galle Fort - the largest fortress in Asia built by Europeans. As you walk through it, you will immerse yourself in the island's colonial past: admire charming houses with columns and tiled roofs, enjoy sea views, and the charm of winding paved streets. Explore the lighthouse and ancient temples of different religions.
- Turtle Farm - a place where care is given to disabled turtles and help hatch little turtles. You will discover how everything is arranged here and learn many interesting facts about turtles: how they sleep, how they breathe, how long they live, how they nest, and which beaches they prefer.
- Mask Factory - we will visit a center for making traditional Sri Lankan masks. They all resemble mythical demons with sharp fangs, bulging eyes, and snakes instead of hair. Each type has its own legends. You will definitely hear them!
- River Safari through Mangrove Swamps - you will take a boat ride on the Madu Ganga River, enjoying the surrounding landscapes, and visit Cinnamon Island. And if you're lucky, you'll see crocodiles and monitor lizards.

- Transfer is included in the price (except for hotels in the regions of Hambantota, Dickwella, Weligama, Ahangama, Mirissa, and Koggala - transfer from here is possible upon request for an additional fee)
