Join us on an exciting gastronomic journey and meet interesting people. Visit the only snail farm in Armenia and taste some of the best wines. Learn about how and in what conditions snails grow, and who brought the mollusks here. Enjoy the mountain landscapes with a glass of wine, optionally dine in a beautiful restaurant, and listen to stories of the ancient land.
What to Expect
Visit to a Unique Farm
The starting point of our route is the first snail farm in Armenia. Here you will meet the owner Vage Akhverdyan - a director and founder. Learn everything about what mollusks like to feast on and how they live. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste snails with various sauces paired with wine.
Winery Tour
Next, we will visit one of the best wine producers in Armenia. You will learn about the specifics of the winemaking process, take a walk through the workshop, and conclude with wine tastings from premium collections.
Lunch at a Restaurant (optional)
You can also stay in a cozy winery restaurant and taste local cuisine dishes.
Accompanied by a Wine Guide
Our team has guides with special education. In addition to fascinating stories about culture and history, you will hear a lot of exciting information about how Armenia has become a discovery for the wine world and a true gem.

Organizational Details
- Cost includes comfortable transfer, wine guide assistance, and wine tasting (3 drink samples with light snacks)
- Additional expenses at your discretion: snail set with wine - from 15 €, lunch at the restaurant from the menu
- The tour and tasting will be conducted by me or another experienced guide from our team, with specialized education in the wine industry
