About this experience
It's no secret that Tuscany is a paradise for fashionistas and foodies. This excursion is dedicated to Tuscan shopping and gastronomy: in one day you will visit the famous Prada outlet, which is not easy to reach independently, and then head to a tasting dinner in the town of Montevarchi. Delicious cheeses, sausages, bruschettas, and pasta accompanied by fine wine in a cozy family restaurant - can you imagine a more pleasant Tuscan evening?
What to Expect
Tuscan-style Shopping
We will meet in the small charming town of Montevarchi, take a stroll through the historic center and its characteristic narrow stone-paved streets. Then I will take you to the excellent Prada outlet where fashion enthusiasts from all over the world gather! It's not so easy to get here: there are no direct flights from Florence, and very few travelers know about this place. If needed, at the outlet I will happily help fashionistas make their choices and also share insights about Italian fashion, local discounts, and sales: it's worth noting that the discount rules in this outlet differ from those in regular stores in Italy.
Exquisite Tasting Dinner
Fittings are done, purchases are made, it's time to relax and enjoy the variety of Tuscan cuisine - unique, preserving centuries-old traditions and very delicious! In Montevarchi, you will be treated to a wonderful tasting dinner accompanied by Italian wines (including the famous Chianti). The menu will include the most popular delicacies and dishes from Tuscany: pecorino cheese, Tuscan sausages, pappa al pomodoro, crostini with chicken liver, various bruschettas, pasta with seafood, desserts, and much more. During dinner, I will talk about the culinary traditions of our region, and Chef Stefano (owner of the city's most famous family restaurant) will share the secrets of preparing the dishes you like.
