What to expect
Exploring family farms
In the Orcia River Valley, there are small cheese factories, wineries, and mills producing products using old technologies and recipes. You will walk through vineyards and olive groves, taste prestigious Italian wine like Brunello di Montalcino. At the cheese factory, you will be offered more than ten types of sheep cheese, and at the mill, you can try local pasta made from hard wheat varieties. We will chat with farmers, who will share their craftsmanship secrets and funny stories about their profession. I will not only show you what and where to try but also explain the origins of each recipe and the production process of each product.
Tuscan postcard landscapes
On the way to the farms, we will see several small towns and villages of Tuscany known for their ancientness and coziness. We will stroll through emerald hills, winding paths adorned with slender cypresses: I will tell you about life in this region of Italy, local customs, and activities. And of course, you will be able to take photos against the backdrop of the famous Tuscan hills!
