You will visit one of the largest, most famous, and oldest markets in Uzbekistan - Chorsu, where you will immerse yourself in the depth of eastern colors and learn how to choose spices and herbs. As you stroll through the bustling market stalls, you will hear about the rich history of Chorsu, which has been known since the Middle Ages. You will learn how the market looked in different eras and what significance it had for the city's development and trade.
Tasting National Cuisine Dishes
Then we will head to the most popular restaurant serving national cuisine in Tashkent. You will enjoy a great lunch with a variety of Uzbek dishes: we will definitely try real Uzbek pilaf, fresh salad "Achichuk", samosa, Uzbek dumplings, and other delicacies. During lunch, I will tell you about the specifics of Uzbek cuisine: how rice for pilaf is cultivated, which spices local chefs prefer, and much more.
