Even the medieval scholar Avicenna mentioned it in his treatise as one of the healthiest dishes in the world. In our country, recipes are carefully preserved and passed down from generation to generation. We will gladly share them with you!
What to expect
Pilaf at a local family's home
Our gastronomic adventure will take place in a cozy private house with a garden, following the laws of Eastern hospitality. Over a cup of hot green tea, you will learn about the peculiarities of Uzbek cuisine, why locals love spices so much, and the difference between recipes from 100 years ago and modern ones.
Then, you will start cooking pilaf under the careful guidance of the hostess. You will learn how to properly use each spice and uncover the secrets of rice processing. To finish, we will invite you to the table to enjoy the result of our joint effort!

- Upon request, we can cook another dish instead of pilaf: manty, samsa, or mashkhurda
