We will stroll from Fleet Street to the pubs of Southwark, follow the trails of Jack the Ripper and Guy Fawkes, recall the 'pies with secrets,' and step by step separate the myths from the facts. It won't be scary - it will be thrillingly interesting!

The Dark Side of the British Capital
I will lead you to the most mysterious corners of London, associated with mystical, detective, and simply enigmatic urban tales:
- you will walk in the footsteps of Jack the Ripper and hear the story of the most famous criminal in London who was never caught;
- discover the secrets of ancient British pubs and the infamous Newgate Prison;
- understand why pies have been unpopular in the City for 2 centuries;
- learn about the 'House of Pestilence' and its inhabitants;
- find out why there has been a ban on building wooden houses in London since the 17th century;
- discuss what native Londoners fear;
- I will tell you why there is still a law in the American state of Pennsylvania against rabid black dogs and explain the connection to the English;
- and we will also find out how Guy Fawkes' mask turned into an internet meme and a symbol of protest, and we will delve into whether Guy Fawkes was a hero or a traitor?
Old London from Pubs to the Tower
The iconic and atmospheric districts of London will serve as backdrops for urban legends - we will walk along Fleet Street, examine the Templar church, the majestic Old Bailey, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the amazing Millennium Bridge. And then we will explore the opposite district of Southwark and its historical pubs, where we can stop in one of them. Or we can continue the journey - head towards the legendary Tower.
