About this experience
This will be a 3-hour leisurely walk and 1 hour for a coffee break. We will pay attention to the most significant locations - former royal residences, Westminster Palace with Big Ben, Scotland Yard, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, the Household Cavalry, and many others. You can expect captivating stories about great Britons and about London - past and present.
What to Expect
Trafalgar Square
Let's start our walk from the place of public gatherings and a concentration of monuments from different eras. I will tell you about significant landmarks located here. Afterwards, we will visit the city's oldest concert hall and find ourselves above the burial ground of London's most notorious sinners.
Admiralty Arch and Stories of the Powerful
We will walk under the arches and past former royal residences from various eras. You will learn about their past and present, as well as about the royal dynasty, dukes, counts, and parliament peers.
Buckingham Palace
At the current royal residence, I will share details about the palace's past and its current occupants. We will definitely discuss the complex history of Charles III's ascension to the throne.
Household Cavalry and the Country's Main Rat Catcher
On Whitehall, the government street, we will witness the changing of the royal guard's household cavalry. Then, along ministries and departments buildings, we will walk to the British Prime Minister's headquarters and the country's main rat catcher.
Westminster Abbey and Big Ben
By the most famous church in London, we will talk about its Russian details. And then, next to the British Parliament building with the iconic Big Ben, you will learn about the department's original function and which of the deputies dared to insult Prime Minister Theresa May directly during a session.
Tower of London and Tower Bridge
Concluding the first stage of getting to know London, we will move to other equally iconic city landmarks on a double-decker bus. During the walk, if you wish, we can take a coffee break.
