What to expect
Mysterious places of Edinburgh
Our walk will start from the Royal Mile - the main street of the medieval Old Town and the most mysterious district of Edinburgh. You will see ancient houses and tourist-free corners of the city, each with its own stories and secrets. And at Edinburgh Castle, which has towered over the Old Town with an impregnable rock since the 11th century, you will explore the external fortress buildings and immerse yourself in the world of mystical stories, both truthful and mythical, existing since the castle's creation.
World of Scottish legends and folklore
The ancient history of Edinburgh will be revealed to you through the prism of its mysteries, medieval legends, and folk beliefs. I will tell you about thrilling events that took place within the walls of Edinburgh, about unconventional and enigmatic fates of Scottish royal figures and the accursed generations of royal lineages, as well as about mysterious events within Scottish clans that led to treacheries and bloody wars.
If the weather is bad on the day of the tour (rain, strong wind), at your request, I will tell the second part of the mystical history of Edinburgh in one of the local cozy pubs with a fireplace over a pint of local ale, a Scottish whisky cocktail, or a cup of good British tea.
