What to expect
Castle of Eternal Love in the city of Hungarian kings
The journey begins with the multifaceted baroque Szekesfehervar, founded in the 11th century. During a walk along its ancient cobblestone streets, you will learn about the city's complicated history, where Hungarian monarchs were crowned for five centuries. You will explore the well-kept gardens of the locals and visit the most famous modern fortress in Europe - Bori Castle, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest structure built by one person. I will tell you about the history of the 40-year construction of the monument and its author - a sculptor who dedicated the building to his wife and children. And the incredible atmosphere of the place will leave no doubt that the fortress rightfully bears the name of the Castle of Eternal Love.
Lavender Tihany
The introduction to the resorts of Balaton will begin with the town of Tihany in the national park on the eponymous peninsula. You will see unique buildings - houses with thatched roofs, built of local volcanic stone. You will feel the aroma of streets permeated with lavender and learn about the unexpected uses that this plant has found here. You will admire the products of skilled potters and wood carvers, learn about the first monument of Hungarian writing, and the phenomenon of 'Tihany Echo'. And visit the observation platform at the Benedictine abbey, from where you will have a unique view of the emerald-turquoise expanse of Balaton.
Aristocratic Balatonfured
The next stop is the fashionable jewel of Balaton with numerous hotels, country houses built in the early 19th century, restaurants, bars, yacht clubs, entertainment and sports complexes. You will stroll along the pier, feed the ducks and swans swimming in the emerald water, and appreciate the incomparable views of Balaton. You will taste mineral water from an underground spring and learn about its healing properties, thanks to which the balneological resort developed. You will inhale the scents of roses in the alleys and park, and in Balaton's best confectionery, you will try the desserts and favorite pastries of the local elite.
🍲 During the trip, I will recommend a great place where they cook the famous Hungarian fisherman's soup and dishes from fogash fish, which is found only in Balaton. In the summer, you can include a visit to one of the coziest private beaches on Balaton or take a boat trip in the program.

Additional expenses
- The price does not include entrance tickets, meals, and other personal expenses. The entrance ticket to Bori Castle is 5 euros per person
- The route and content of the tour can be changed. At your request, you can spend the whole day at one of the popular resorts on the northern shore of Balaton, with beaches typical of the Balaton coast, playgrounds, restaurants, etc. Entrance tickets to the resort area are 10 euros per person, but may be higher depending on the season.
