About this experience
Is it possible to feel like a Bangkok local, get into the city's rhythm, and experience the essence of the capital in just one day? Definitely - if you have a reliable guide to the world of the Thai metropolis with you! In one day, you will master all types of local transport, visit vibrant markets and temples, learn about the Thai way of life, and taste flagship dishes of Thai cuisine.
What to Expect
Bangkok Kaleidoscope
Thanks to well-thought-out logistics, in one day, you will explore iconic places in Bangkok, its markets, and colorful neighborhoods. You will travel on all types of transport - from the skytrain and subway to tuk-tuks. You will also learn how to navigate the city and plan routes from point A to point B. Our program includes:
Pratunam district, popular among tourists: we will walk to the Erawan Shrine. I will tell you about the stunning altar that brings luck in all endeavors and the local ritual, the Dance of Angels.
Bangkok Flower Market. From the river, you will have a panoramic view of historical monuments and skyscrapers of Bangkok. If you wish, we can take a long-tail Thai boat ride on the canals of Thonburi and the Chao Phraya River around the Grand Palace area and Wat Pho monastery.
Chinatown - the brightest, most impressive, and enticing corner of Bangkok. We will visit the main temple of the Chinese community, then head to a market known for exotic delicacies, pearls, gemstones, and premium Chinese tea. Here you can also find collectible porcelain and buy fresh and dried fruits.
But after the city's main attractions, there is still much more interesting things to explore:
- we will ride a tuk-tuk through the authentic part of the city;
- we will stroll along a restored canal, favored by street art masters;
- we will visit Little India district with the Sikh temple and markets selling vibrant fabrics, spices, and textiles;
- we will find a Michelin-starred eatery with Thai cuisine;
- we will explore souvenirs from woodworkers in the craft district;
- we will admire the panorama of the historical center at the Golden Mountain Temple with its incredible creation story;
- we will walk through the park-turned-prison, see the Iron Temple, and finally, take a public boat to the Pratunam district.
Bangkok Crash Course: All the Most Interesting
