Even if you have limited time, your first encounter with Bratislava should be memorable - I will help you make it so! We will drive through the most interesting places of the city, walk to the Royal Palace and the Slavin Memorial. You will get a tour of Bratislava's history and enjoy the views from the palace square.
What to Expect
Iconic Center Locations
We will drive through the ancient streets once walked by famous knights, kings, and queens of many countries. You will see the upside-down pyramid of the Slovak Radio and the giant linden tree flower - the largest fountain in Slovakia. You will admire the legendary blue church of St. Elizabeth and marvel at the strictness and grandeur of St. Martin's Cathedral - for centuries it was the center of Catholicism in most of Europe. You will also hear the history of a church whose first stone was laid in the Neolithic era.
Bratislava Castle and the History of Kings
During the tour, we will take a walking tour to Bratislava Castle, and you will hear the history of the palace and fortress that Napoleon struggled to conquer. Bratislava, which served as the coronation center for the kings of Austria and Hungary for many years, will amaze you with its mix of architectural styles. Here you will also admire the magnificent National Opera House, and strolling through the old streets, you will savor the spirit of the city that will reveal its secrets to you.
Organizational Details
- The tour is conducted in a Renault Thalia car. It may be a bit tight for the fourth person in the center of the back seat. It is advisable to limit the group to up to 3 people.
- The starting and ending point, as well as the tour route, cannot be changed for technical reasons.
- It is not possible to conduct the tour in your own car, as an audio guide is used.
