About this experience
Ancient Bratislava will conquer you with cozy courtyards, majestic palaces, ancient squares, cute monuments, and picturesque panoramas. I will tell you about its culture and traditions, history and mentality. And in a couple of weeks, postcards with your photos against the backdrop of this amazing city on the Danube will come to your home.
What to expect
Secrets of Bratislava Castle
We will start the walk at the ancient Bratislava Castle: you will examine it from different angles, walk through the luxurious French garden, hear the sad story of Saint Elizabeth, and visit one of the most picturesque viewpoints of the city. Then you will meet the smiling 'Girl with the Ravens', whose lap children love to sit on, see the neglected garden on the site of an old cemetery, and the small church of St. Nicholas. And then through the narrow streets, you will descend to the entrance of the medieval city, where even more magic awaits you!
Walk through the Old Town
I will take you through romantic courtyards and solemn squares, past splendid palaces and ancient fountains. I will show you the oldest church in Bratislava and the most mysterious street in the city, frozen in the Middle Ages. And I will also take a photo of you next to unusual city monuments: against the backdrop of the hat-doffing eccentric Ignac Lamar and the famous Watcher, peeking out of a sewer manhole.
Valuable tips from a local resident
I will gladly share the secrets of everyday life in Bratislava: where to buy interesting souvenirs that cannot be found on the central tourist streets, which drinks to bring from Slovakia, and where they serve the most delicious kapustnica (sauerkraut soup). In addition, a small bonus awaits you, which will delight history lovers and rare wine enthusiasts.
