Kazakh cuisine, along with dairy and meat dishes, is famous for its flour products, without which no dastarkhan is complete. Among them, baursaks, or simply doughnuts, are especially popular. They always fly off the table at any feast. We will teach you how to bake this incredibly delicious treat, and after the master class, we will have a tea party with fascinating stories and national sweets.
What to Expect
Theory and Practice
An experienced chef will reveal the secrets of delicious dough used for Kazakh doughnuts, and you will get to roll it out and bake baursaks. Additionally, you will record the recipe for zhent - a national dessert made from wheat, usually served during holidays with tea. Under the guidance of the chef, you will also prepare this dish.
Stories and Tastings
You will learn about the different types of baursaks, a joke related to their origin, and when these doughnuts are traditionally baked. Of course, after the master class, you will enjoy fragrant Kazakh tea and traditional sweets.

- The price includes the services of a professional chef from the confectionery studio and a tea party
- Please ensure you wear comfortable shoes with flat soles, clothes without long fluffy sleeves, and tie back your hair
- The master class is recommended for adults and children aged 6 and above
- The remaining payment for the tour must be made in tenge on the day of the event, based on the current exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exact amount will be communicated to you in the correspondence.
