What to Expect
Secrets of Armenian Cuisine
At the master class, we will focus on national desserts, beloved by locals and visitors alike. You may have tried Pakhlava or Gata before, or maybe even Nazuk - now is the time to understand how and from what they are made. The process of preparing these sweet dishes requires skill, but by carefully observing my actions, you will easily be able to repeat the algorithm and quickly memorize the recipes and ideal proportions. I will also briefly talk about Armenian cuisine as a whole: what is characteristic of it, which products are used most often, and what can be said about the dietary habits of the people of Armenia from the perspective of modern dietetics.
Cooking and Conversing
While you discover Armenian desserts, we will engage in conversations on various topics related to the history of lavash, gata, marzipan. We will discuss not only the nuances of national baking, but confectionery in general. If you are interested, I will even share my experience of creating my own confectionery. And I will definitely treat you to coffee and various delicacies to ensure that the set of impressions from the master class is as complete as possible.
