Prague - Vienna: group excursion to the imperial capital

What to expect

You will travel 330 km in one direction, but don't worry: the buses are comfortable, and the guide will fill the road with stories about the history of the Czech Republic and Austria, about the chronicles of their capitals.

Highlights of Vienna in 2 hours
On foot, you will walk along the Ringstrasse boulevard - a showcase of Viennese symbols, through wide squares and narrow streets. You will discover Vienna in stories about the Habsburg dynasty, in the names of artists and musicians, in the diversity of architectural styles. Here are some of the attractions covered in the route (not all of them can be listed in the excursion description!):

• Hofburg and Belvedere - baroque palace complexes;
• The oldest Viennese church Ruprechtskirche, the white Karlskirche of the 18th century and the Gothic St. Stephen's Cathedral;
• Town Hall surrounded by a picturesque English park and Maria Theresa Square with twin museums;
• The famous Opera and the colorful house created by the modern artist and architect Hundertwasser.

Free time: museums and coffee houses
You will have 3 hours of free time: you will have the opportunity to explore one of the greatest collections housed in the capital's museums and enjoy a cup of coffee with a traditional strudel. In Belvedere, you will find paintings by Klimt and medieval paintings, in the Albertina gallery - a collection of graphics, paintings by Rembrandt, Durer, and Rubens, in the Leopold Museum - works by Schiele, Kokoschka, and Klimt.
