About this experience
During the trip, you will explore the necklace of majestic monuments on Ringstrasse, see the unique Hundertwasser House with trees on the roof, and learn the key facts about the history of the imperial capital. Visit one of the most beautiful biosphere parks in Europe, hear about the wine traditions of the region in the village of Grinzing, and admire the beautiful panoramas of the surroundings from Kahlenberg mountain.
What to Expect
Main attractions of the imperial capital
In the first part of the excursion, you will drive through the most beautiful places in Vienna, see the buildings and monuments of one of the world's most luxurious boulevards that gave the city its grand appearance, and get acquainted with the amazing architectural works of contemporary masters. Along the way, I will talk about the most significant constructions, key events in the thousand-year history of the Austrian capital, the creation of a mighty empire, and the role of the Roman era in its life. Our program includes:

Village of Grinzing
Next, you will head to the wine-growing region with numerous wine taverns. In Grinzing, you will discover charming wooden architecture from the 18th century and learn about the ancient origins of Vienna's 2000-year-old wine history - the only capital in the world where wine is produced on an industrial scale.
Vienna Woods and Kahlenberg Mountain
During the trip, you will visit a part of the famous biosphere park located within and beyond the city. The 'lungs' of Vienna consist of a habitat for many plant and animal species, including those under threat of extinction. In the Vienna Woods area, you will drive along the panoramic Hoehenstrasse road and learn about the impact of the Viennese crisis at the beginning of the 20th century. Finally, you will ascend the viewpoint on Kahlenberg mountain. Here, you will hear about the Turkish siege of Vienna in the 17th century and enjoy splendid panoramas of the city, its surroundings, and vineyard plantations.
If desired, we will make stops along the way for you to take memorable photos and purchase souvenirs.
