About this experience
Vienna is a treasure trove of fascinating stories waiting to be discovered. To ensure you have the chance to fully explore the city, I will lead a guided car-pedestrian tour. We will ride in a comfortable minibus through the historic center, making stops for photos and brief overviews of iconic landmarks - Ringstrasse, Town Hall, Parliament, University, Hundertwasser House, and Belvedere. I will also share ideas on what to visit, where to go for shopping or lunch.
What to Expect
This is the perfect tour for those who want to see everything at once, without spending a lot of energy and time. In a small group, you will embark on a car journey along the Ring road. I will show Vienna in all its diversity - old and new. Along our route, you will encounter key buildings of the Old Town - Opera, art museums, Town Hall, Parliament, University, Hundertwasser's artist house - as well as modern skyscrapers, the city's tallest building, and the wide blue Danube river.
You will learn:
- how many Danubes are in Vienna
- why Vienna has more bridges than Venice
- why Emperor Franz Joseph is adored by all Austrians
- where every capital resident dreams of having a country house
- which building is the brightest in the city
- where the structure is located whose color is in your wallet
