About this experience
You will drive through one of the most beautiful streets in the world - the Boulevard Ring, surrounding the historical district of the Austrian capital, where its main attractions are concentrated: neo-Gothic churches, the imperial residence, the opera house, the university, and numerous museums. Additionally, I will introduce you to the most unusual residential building project in Vienna and take you to one of the largest parks on the banks of the Danube, Prater.
What to expect
Ringstrasse Wonders
The Ring is a fantastic concentration of Vienna's historical and architectural landmarks. You will see the neo-Gothic beauty of the City Hall, the white Parliament, Vienna University, Hofburg Imperial Palace, Vienna State Opera, museums of art history, natural history, and applied arts, as well as the Soviet Soldier Monument and many other places that define Vienna. Along the way, you will hear about significant events from the history of the Austrian capital and the city's contemporary life.
The Most Unusual House and Prater Park
From luxurious and classic Vienna, we will move on to contemporary extraordinary projects - I will show you the brightest and most unconventional residential project, Hundertwasser-Krawina house, where trees are the best tenants! You will learn about the author's ideas, aesthetic concepts, and worldview. Then, we will take a stroll in one of the largest parks on the banks of the Danube - Prater, whose main alley stretches for 4.4 km. Here, we will discuss what was previously located on the park's territory and Austrian urban leisure philosophy.
Additional options
If desired, the tour can be extended to 3-4 hours, including visits to Belvedere Palace, the Russian Orthodox Church, the Military History Museum, Schönbrunn Imperial Residence, Kahlenberg lookout point, the wine region of Grinzing, St. Charles's Church, Secession, the modern building of the University of Economics resembling a spaceship, and anything else you may wish.
