About this experience
Together we will approach your acquaintance with magnificent Vienna responsibly and take a look at its key places, but we will pave the way through hidden streets without crowds. You will peek behind the facades, be impressed by the sights of the Ringstrasse, and discover amazing churches. And I will tell you about the everyday life of the Habsburgs and share hidden stories of the city.
What to expect
Off the beaten path
In search of the main sights, we will stroll through picturesque quiet streets and peek into the lives of the royals in hidden inner courtyards. You will see the Jesuit Church and the Plague Column; find Mozart's house and the church where he lived; admire St. Stephen's Cathedral from different angles, the symbol of Vienna. Of course, the secret paths will also lead us to the Ringstrasse - the boulevard lined with the city's trademark buildings: the elegant City Hall, the Hofburg Palace, and the twin museums on Maria Theresa Square.
Viennese plots and secrets
I will provide general information about the emergence and development of Vienna, tell in detail about the Habsburgs. You will learn about the representatives of the powerful dynasty, like ordinary people who loved, suffered, and celebrated holidays. On our way, we will encounter the Basilisk from the legend, Greek and Ukrainian churches, as well as a 'Medieval resident'. We will talk about the raging plague in Vienna, the oldest restaurant, and many other pages from the city's history.
