About this experience
Back in the 80s, Barcelona was full of factory smoke. The city was cramped and stuffy. Everything changed for the 1992 Olympics. Slums were demolished, factories moved to the suburbs, 5 km of sandy beaches were created along the coast. Barcelona received sports facilities, roads, parks, and two skyscrapers - symbols of the Catalan capital. On the tour, you will get acquainted with the city's Olympic heritage and even compare your foot to Michael Jordan's foot.
What to expect
Gastronomic alley and giant shrimp
Let's start the walk at the Old Port with the allegorical monument 'The Face of Barcelona'. You will walk along the main gastronomic alley of the Olympics, take a photo under a huge shrimp, and see the transport artery that relieved the city center during the Games.
City gates and golden fish
Then we will head to the Olympic Port to see the two tallest structures in Catalonia - the peculiar gates to Barcelona. You will be amazed by the yacht parking lot, make a secret wish by the world's largest goldfish, and understand the idea behind the controversial sculpture 'David and Goliath'.
Pedestal of champions
Through the park of waterfalls, we will reach the monument to volunteers. You will learn about the Olympic volunteer movement, which took on a modern look thanks to the Barcelona Games. And then you will be able to climb a real Olympic pedestal, which in 1992 saw legendary champions.

On the alley, you will count the commemorative plaques to all the winners of the Games. Take a walk through the Olympic Village and Carlos I Park, where you will see giant bronze buttocks and definitely learn the history of their appearance.
