What to Expect
Kaleici: the oldest district of Antalya
On the atmospheric streets of the historical center, you will be transported back in time and imagine how the city, founded by the Pergamum king Attalos in the 2nd century BCE, lived and developed. In our program:

- Republic Square. In the central square of Antalya, you will see a monument to the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
- Mevlevi Lodge Museum. Visit the complex where the dervish school was located. You will learn about the history of the Sufi center built in the 13th century.
- Yivli Minaret and ancient mosque. Examine the symbol of all of Antalya - a medieval religious monument interesting for its architecture.
- Ethnographic museum. You will also explore the collection of exhibits dedicated to the Ottoman Empire era.
- Ancient fortifications. I will tell you about the Roman fortress walls and the defensive tower of Hidirlik.
- Ancient port. In addition, you will see the Antalya seaport, where ships decorated in the style of ancient mythology are moored.
