About this experience
2000 years ago, a Byzantine ruler was looking for the most beautiful place on earth - and that's how Attalia was born. We will walk through the Kaleici district, combining shades of Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman cultures. We will explore a cave, refresh at the waterfall: you will see Antalya from different perspectives, both historical and geographical. And enjoy Turkish coffee.
What to expect
Inside the fortress
Next we head to the old town of Kaleici: you will learn how this port, surrounded by high walls, towers, and cannons, appeared. We will search for archaeological landmarks of three civilizations, stroll through colorful streets, and taste some delicious Turkish ice cream.
Mountains and waterfalls
It's time to admire the beautiful nature of Antalya. We will reach the Upper Duden Waterfall. Descending down the steps along the river, we will walk through a cave tunnel and find ourselves right by the refreshing flow of the waterfall.
