What to Expect
Old Town – An Engaging Dive into the Past
We will stroll through the streets and hidden corners of the ancient Kaleici district, where the sense of time and space is lost. You will hear the legend of the city's foundation and King Attalus. We will trace Antalya's incredible 22-century-long history. We will also recall ancient civilizations and peoples who left their mark on the city's appearance, and discuss the vivid mixture of cultures and religions.
I will show you Roman towers and Ottoman mosques, Byzantine churches and the museum of Ottoman lifestyle, Ataturk's house museum, and much more. I will tell you who built what and why; what pirates traded in the port; how the Ottomans converted churches into mosques; which wedding rituals are still preserved in Turkey to this day, and that's not all.
Duden Waterfall
Located 10 km from the city is the ancient national park. Our main goal in the reserve is the beautiful waterfall, where you can relax, admiring the beauty of nature, and capture picturesque moments.
