About this experience
Antalya is a picturesque and very interesting place that has witnessed many historical events. You will learn about its history from antiquity to the present day and hear about local traditions, culture, and architecture. You will also admire the waterfall and the wonderful view of the city from the observation deck!
What to Expect
The Charm of the Old Town
Strolling through the quiet narrow streets of the Old Town Kaleici, you will feel like you are in the Middle Ages. You will find examples of architecture from the Roman, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods, admire the miniature colorful houses, the Yivli minaret, and the wonderful 16th-century mosque, which will amaze you with its beauty and simplicity at the same time.
Duden Waterfall and Ethnographic Museum
The Ethnographic Museum of Antalya will help you immerse yourself in the culture and daily life of the local people. Each room in it is a reenactment of a specific folk tradition. For example, you will see the wedding ceremony "Night of Henna", the groom's shaving, and the coffee ceremony. You will also observe the clothing of the 19th century and, thanks to modern audio technology, hear the sounds of the past. Additionally, I will show you the city's "business card" - the 50-meter-high Duden Waterfall. Our day will end with a magnificent view and a cup of Turkish tea.
