About this experience
The Nazi period in Germany still raises many questions, and the topic of denazification is constantly discussed in German society. During the tour, we will visit all the main historical sites of the Third Reich. I will tell you how Hitler came to power and why educated people followed him, what was happening in Berlin at that time, and how the city's appearance changed after the Nazis came to power.
What to Expect
Black Marks on the Map of Berlin
Surviving Nazi buildings serve as a haunting reminder of what overturned the world decades ago. In 3 hours, you will see all the structures that are in one way or another linked to the philosophy of that time. You will visit the Reichstag, explore the government district of the Third Reich era, walk around Hermann Göring's Ministry of Aviation building, see a preserved part of the Gestapo headquarters and Joseph Goebbels' Ministry of Propaganda. We will also visit the Holocaust Victims' Memorial and the site of Hitler's Reich Chancellery. Additionally, I will show you where you can still see the reddish marble that lined the gallery of the Reich Chancellery, which was so striking with its brilliance.
Berlin and Its Path to Abyss
Along the way, I will talk about Hitler's plans to turn Berlin into the capital of the world, as well as how the city hosted the 1936 Summer Olympics. We will contemplate the unresolved question of why a multi-million crowd followed the chancellor and visit the bunker where the Führer spent his last days. At the end, we will compile a list of interesting places that you can visit on your own.
